We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids. Never again.
