Kudos for the brilliant work on this new Greenpeace production to my good friend, Jenny Binstock, and the great cast and crew of volunteers from Greenpeace Southern California. This would be even funnier if it weren’t so truly sad and sadly true. Too bad Meg Whitman wasn’t available because she would have been a contender!

It’s rare when consumer karma actually works out for any buyer of any product made today, but then again, your friendly neighborhood Greenius is not your usual consumer. Debra and I finally got our first electric car, A 2012 Toyota RAV4 EV, a joint production with Tesla, in January of 2013. Let me tell you about it.

Nobody wanted to buy it because there are so many superior EV charger products with far better features and benefits for half the price. This is especially effective against clueless companies like Leviton whose social media game is pathetic and comes across as poorly written corporate boilerplate from the 1950s.

If Hermosa Beach is ever truly going to become a carbon-neutral city it’s going to have to make some very big and very healthy changes, including cutting out the use of unsustainable fossil fuel-based plastic products. In the United States we consume more than 500 million bottles of water each week.

It’s time Torrance started producing clean, green solar electricity for the electric cars we’ll all be driving in 2017 and stopped supporting a corporation that displays the ethics of a criminal mafia and a product that does more harm than good. At $3 a watt, as soon as people grasp what that means, at $3 a watt you’re sub-ten year payback for a 40 year product.
