Until then, we can always program the ESS to make what Lotus refers to as "more futuristic sounds for electric vehicles [that] can be created using sampled sounds and generated waveforms." Other than sports car wanna-bes, modern cars are so quiet that you hear tire/wind noise much more than engines. I have stated the same before.
