Universal Lubricants has hit the 1.5-million million gallon production mark for its ECO ULTRA line of recycled motor oil. billion gallons of used oil each year, of which about 10% is re-refined. The rest of the used oil is either improperly disposed of (damaging the environment) or burned as an industrial fuel.

Kansas Geological Survey Receives $5M Grant to Study CO2 Storage

The Kansas Geological Survey based at the University of Kansas has received a nearly $5 million grant from the US Department of Energy (DOE) to study the feasibility of storing carbon dioxide underground. and Bittersweet Energy Inc. and Bittersweet Energy Inc. CO2 sequestration is in the early phase of implementation globally.
