The second generation Toyota C-HR will be produced at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey (TMMT) in Sakarya. Available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, the new Toyota C-HR will also be the first plug-in hybrid passenger car to be produced in Turkey.

signed a long-term supply agreement with DMA (Derindere) in Istanbul, Turkey. DMA will use Remy’s HVH 250 motor to power their plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) sedan. The PHEV will achieve a top speed of 100 mph (161 km/h). Remy International, Inc.

Based on a Transit chassis, produced at the Ford Otosan joint venture plant in Kocaeli, Turkey, the medium-sized electric delivery van is fitted with a battery-electric drivetrain and a body designed and built to StreetScooter specifications. With a battery capacity of up to 76 kWh, the WORK XL has a range of up to 200 kilometers (124 miles).
