Nissan North America Inc. is expanding the availability of the battery-electric Nissan LEAF in the US. Orders for the 2012 Nissan LEAF begin today in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. At the end of August, Nissan reported 6,187 LEAF units sold since its December 2010 launch.

Nissan North America Inc. Nissan has re-opened reservations and has begun taking orders from the general public for the 2012 Nissan LEAF in Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Nissan LEAF is now available for order in 30 states, including Washington, D.C.

Nissan North America Inc. is expanding availability of the all-electric Nissan LEAF to US consumers, upgraded for the 2012 model year. Equipped with additional standard equipment including quick charging and cold-weather features, the 2012 LEAF now will also be available for order in the Southeastern United States and Illinois.
