Hwy 65 parallels somewhat in-land the Mississippi and goes over the flat, broad and green of first Louisiana into the flat, broad and green of Arkansas. The "Spirit" after a night of recharging at Motel 6 had these readings: 78.7MPG for 15 miles; 61.7 Traffic was light, but mainly slight some 200 miles! It was leisure travel!
