It is rapidly becoming clear that electric vehicles will replace petrol and diesel ICE vehicles in most use cases. The Climate Change Commission’s analysis shows that by 2030 67% of cars entering the New Zealand market are EV. The government itself has set a target to have 30% of the light fleet electric by 2035.
