Ford Motor Company announced the C-MAX Solar Energi Concept, a sun-powered hybrid vehicle that can deliver the efficiency of a plug-in hybrid without depending on the electric grid for recharging. Hybrids Plug-ins Solar' Ford C-MAX Energi gets a combined EPA-estimated 108 MPGe city and 92 MPGe highway, for a combined 100 MPGe.

Hinting at a trend, many of these are health-related; perhaps no surprise given that we’re coming out of a pandemic with a renewed focus on our health.
