All electrified types contributed to growth as hybrids (HEV) increased their volume by 36%, pure electric (BEV) by 91% and plug-in hybrids (PHEV) by 173%. Among the big markets, electrified vehicles counted for almost 19% in France, 14% in the UK, 12% in Spain, 10% in Germany and 8% in Italy. This is a market share of 13.3%

Registrations of BEV, PHEV, HEV and other electric vehicles totalled 96,600 units in July—as demand increased by 29% from July 2018. Elsewhere, the Opel Corsa saw a volume increase of 28%, boosted by strong demand in Germany (+82%) and Spain (+153%). drop on the same period last year.
