Launching an imported CKD kit in India was never a long term solution. Ultimately, Hyundai can’t treat India like a 3rd world car market and keep dumping pollution cars on it this decade. The plug-in EV segment continues to grow. Also, the replacement batteries had to come all the way from Korea.
