FTA awarding $55M to 10 projects deploying battery-electric and fuel-cell buses

The Transit Authority of River City (TARC), the transit agency for Louisville, Kentucky, and southern Indiana, will receive funding to deploy five Proterra battery-electric buses and a fast charging station. DTA provides approximately 3 million rides per year throughout St. Louis County in northeast Minnesota. 54,469,249.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

New vehicles to be deployed include 55 CNG vehicles, 363 propane vehicles, 89 hybrid electric vehicles, and 56 neighborhood electric vehicles. Louis, San Antonio/Austin, and Oklahoma City as well as a refueling corridor along I-10 in Louisiana (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles). Total DOE award: $12,975,388.
