BMW X5 FCEV – hydrogen-powered version of large SUV is a pilot program for now, but expect things to grow. BMW M cars – they’re coming with hybrid drivetrains. And if we’re guessing, we reckon it could be called the Ranger Lightning (see above). Soon, apparently. Due in Australia early 2022.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
