Mr. Thesen said that a factory in Turkey was being refurbished to be able to produce 100,000 electric vehicles a year. But after interviewing Ford’s Nancy Gioia at the recent Detroit Auto show, I’m now unsure of both the timescales involved, or how much the power and auto companies are behind it as a fundamental concept.
