The National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium at West Virginia University (WVU) has received a $1.15-million million grant to develop the state’s second hydrogen production-fueling station. The effort is unique in that it will support obtaining hydrogen fuel by using domestic fossil energy.

The West Virginia University (WVU)-based National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium ( NAFTC ) has created a suite of modern technology products that put knowledge about specific electric drive and alternative fuel vehicles at the fingertips of first responders. Online courses will be available in 2012.
