But hey, tiny electric SUVs aren’t exactly growing on trees around here, either. But safety isn’t your only problem.

Earlier this week, Eli Electric announced that it was opening pre-orders for its Eli ZERO , an electric vehicle so small that you can fit four of them in the same parking spot used by a large SUV. They’re also not nearly as powerful, since they are federally limited to just 25 mph (40 km/h) top speeds.

Tax credit incentives are also available to consumers in the U.S. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla.
