The MiEV runs on a lithium-ion battery pack that can be charged in seven or so hours on a 240-volt line. The Think Global would definitly be classified as a mini-car, several size classes smaller than a compact car like the Honda Civic or Ford Focus. Electric cars a still a joke.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Honda has probably sold more Civics in a year than the combined total of all 18 of those GM models. One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Interesting in any case.
