ExxonMobil said it made a discovery at Whiptail in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. Drilling continues at both wells to test deeper targets, and results will be evaluated for future development. Yellowtail has been identified as the fourth development project in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana with anticipated startup in 2025.
ExxonMobil made two oil discoveries at Fangtooth-1 and Lau Lau-1 in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. The well was drilled in 6,030 feet (1,838 meters) of water and is located approximately 11 miles (18 kilometers) northwest of the Liza field. Separately, progress continues on infrastructure for future field development.
ExxonMobil has made a discovery at Pinktail in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. These results will be incorporated into future developments.
