This project started about a month ago when I became co-chair of the Oregon Electric Vehicles Association. With rising gasoline prices, I believe the demand for freeway capable electric vehicles is going to increase over the next few years. I wanted a project that the group could share their collective brain power and rally around.

Kulongoski, Oregon as the electric-car manufacturer may be eyeing the “green” city of Portland. It is reminiscent of the early 1900’s, when steam, electric, diesel, biomass, and gasoline power options competed on a level playing field for consumers’ attention.
