A new all-electric luxury SUV is set to hit the market next year to compete with Tesla’s best-selling Model Y. Volvo is joining the luxury electric SUV market with its new EX60 launching next year. The new EX60 will rival premium models from Tesla, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. That’s up from 13 in Q4 2023.

Volvo marks 17 straight months of growth as EV sales lead the way in January

Although Volvo’s Recharge model sales (EV and PHEV) fell 3% to 19,171, fully electric vehicles continued to see higher demand. The growth was propelled by its EV sales, which were up 17%, with 9,226 electric Volvo models handed over last month. Volvo is committed to an all-electric lineup by 2030.
