DOE announces funding for emission and combustion projects

The US Department of Energy will grant up to $13million in funding to six cost-shared University Advanced Combustion and Emissions Controls research and development projects. The research is expected to contribute to the development of high efficiency internal combustion engines in an effort to improve fuel economies by 20- to 40 per cent.
