One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do GM is making strides increasing their cars fuel economy.
