Not easy shedding almost $100k in a year, but that’s the case for an ex-demo 4000km-old ’22 BMW i7 limo up for sale in Victoria. And the chauffeur only needs worry about recharging every 625km. There are almost 100 used, demo and near-new iX SUVs on sale, despite seemingly only being on sale for five minutes.

Official electric range of 320km is wildly optimistic and it’s a pretty joyless steer, but here’s a small SUV with warranty to tempt you into EV life. We found only four for sale, with $28,880 for a 190km range 2014 60Ah version with 100,000km the cheapest. BMW i3 – from $28,000 2020 BMW i3s EV.

Tesla helped former shareholder Toyota to bring back the Toyota RAV4 EV , an electric SUV and also aided its other OEM shareholder, Daimler (which also has since divested its Tesla shares), with the Smart ED and B-Class Electric. Daimler is the automotive giant that owns Mercedes-Benz and Smart and also was a Tesla stockholder.

The high voltage systems pose little to no risk of electric shock, either while driving or recharging. There isn’t an electric car for sale in New Zealand today that has scored less than a total five-star ANCAP rating. Much like with collisions, if a fault is detected, the flow of electricity to the battery is instantly stopped.

Daimler/Mercedes Took over Daimler/Chrysler Sprinter PHEV program. Volvo Ford-owned company exploring PHEVs "ReCharge" flex-fuel series 60-mile concept PHEV w/wheel motors. We believe such production models could be available for sale in three years."Furia Joint Venture with Saab and others to research PHEVs.
