I spent 25 years buying and selling commodities, primarily focusing on North American energy—natural gas, crude oil, and then some electricity. However, they cost thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars to purchase and install. For example, I have a solar system at my house, but we don’t have a TOU program here in Florida.
