Rimac secures $537m in new investment round with Goldman Sachs, Softbank

While not being used for the Rimac Auto brand, this round of investment was intended to fund the Rimac Technology brand, a company that will be an EV and PHEV parts supplier to other brands. According to Mate Rimac, the company will make everything from EV battery systems and PHEV systems to rolling chassis.

Alfa Romeo Tonale – the Italian brand finally has a rechargeable car in its ranks in the form of the Tonale PHEV compact SUV. Expect to see it Down Under in 2023. Soon, apparently.
