It is also required in Thailand, Brazil and many other countries around the world. The so-called Extended Range Electric Vehicle or EREV or BEVx. This concept is basically a PHEV with a smaller “range-extended liquid-fuel-powered electric generator.” These fuels are 10% ethanol for E10 and 20% biodiesel for B20.
