Rowan claims Volvo has “much more pricing power” as it rolls out its cheapest EV so far, the EX30, starting at $35,000. Volvo CEO boasts pricing power for EVs On Wednesday, Rowan told Reuters at the Global Markets Forum that Volvo sees a growth opportunity in the EV segment. It even launched its first electric minivan in China (EM90).

He boasted about the automaker’s pricing power, with the EX30 starting at $34,950 in the US and €36,590 in Europe. It will be available in a single-motor extended range and twin-motor performance version. The extended-range model will feature up to 275 miles driving range. 0 to 60 mph sprint.
