The car is expected to cost around $40,000. Whats more, the General promises the Volt will be the foundation for a slew of cars to be sold worldwide. It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
