It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
