Estonia launches nationwide fast charging network

Estonia has become the world’s first country to launch a nationwide fast-charging network for electric vehicles, using technology provided by ABB. The chargers are installed in urban areas with more than 5,000 inhabitants, and on major roads throughout the country, creating the highest concentration of DC chargers in Europe.

Mitsubishi Corp. to provide 507 i-MiEVs to Estonian Government; CHAdeMO quick charging network for the country

Under the terms of the GIS contract, MC will purchase 10 million tons of emissions rights and provide the 507 electric vehicles, as well as support with regard to the introduction and dissemination of CHAdeMO quick charging technology ( earlier post ).
