The 48V diesel mild-hybrid unit is the first to be launched as part of Kia’s global powertrain electrification strategy. The new turbocharger system, integrated into the cylinder head, recirculates hot exhaust gases more efficiently to balance performance and efficiency more effectively. Idle Stop & Go (ISG) is also available.
