It appears that it is the end of the road for one of Renault''s flagship electric cars: as production of the Fluence ZE (pictured) is halted, according to foreign media sources. Reports suggest that the production line in Turkey will be closed partly because of the collapse of Better Place last year[.].

Turkey’s first EV sports car-in fact the country’s first sports car altogether-is to launch within the next three months. According to Turkish news site Anadolu Ajanski (AA), the manufacturer of the Etox car is preparing for the vehicle’s imminent release.

Just two weeks after being driven into bankruptcy (see article) it appears there is fresh hope for electric car maker THINK. A Turkey-based sustainable transport group, BD Otomotiv, is said to be in advanced negotiations with the Norwegian court-appointed Trustee of THINK Global to rescue the electric vehicle brand.
