But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. It was a Manufacturing Failure, as GM NEVER planned to build the car in Volume, so No Economies of Scale were ever achieved. Interesting in any case.
