Nanjing, China orders more than 1,000 BYD electric buses and taxis

Nanjing, China and Nanjing Public Transportation Group ordered more than 1,000 fully electric transit buses and taxis from BYD Company Ltd. Authorities also placed an order for 400 of BYD’s all-electric e6, a 5-passenger cross-over utility vehicle, some of which have already hit the streets. —Isbrand Ho, a BYD Managing Director.
