The Freightliner SuperTruck uses a downsized and downsped 10.7-liter liter engine, a hybrid system, a Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) system, along with a number of other upgrades. The Freightliner SuperTruck features a low-back-pressure, next-generation aftertreatment system that efficiently removes NO x from the exhaust stream.
