Think Global was formerly known as Think City, a prior Ford Motor Company ( F ) acquisition and part of a now-defunct Think division at Ford. Think of a battery in laptops. Forcing companies to conform to standardized batteries prevents them from designing better cars. A rectangular pack design could be installed horizontally for "under-floor" mounting, or installed vertically for "tank" mounting in the trunk or under the hood.
