Toyota announces voluntary recall of certain Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h hybrids

Toyota Motor Sales, USA will conduct a voluntary safety recall involving approximately 87,000 model year 2010 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h vehicles. If so, the dealer will replace the brake booster pump assembly with an improved one at no cost to the customer.

As part of what has become a global recall of the third-generation Prius, Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA Inc, will conduct a voluntary safety recall on approximately 133,000 2010 Model Year Prius vehicles and 14,500 Lexus Division 2010 HS 250h vehicles to update software in the vehicle’s anti-lock brake system (ABS).
