The Maverick EcoBoost was not designed to be a heavy-duty work truck, but more for the weekend warrior/home owner doing DIY projects or used for active lifestyles for activities such as biking and kayaking. The EcoBoost was good for a 6.2 second 0-60 mph time.

A couple of drawbacks to consider might be the capitalization costs of building these stations and the batteries that they would have to have in stock. of course this would only work if cars have generally uniform battery packs, or perhaps different types of packs (similar to AA, AAA, C.) Battery swapping has its critics.
