The hybrid conversions took place in Charlotte, North Carolina over the last six months and were developed with Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) and Eaton Corporation. The vehicles are expected to go into service in California, and primarily across San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles.
