When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. The system, with a total of 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, is EPA city and highway combined rated at 20 mpg with the gasoline engine only. Brake regeneration is where kinetic braking energy is converted into electricity when slowing or coasting, and that electricity then stored in the battery.
