At the 2021 Mine Action Innovation Conference in Geneva, we heard about a researcher named John Frucci at Oklahoma State University who directs the OSU Global Consortium for Explosive Hazard Mitigation. In the summer of 2022, we spent two weeks with Frucci at OSU’s explosives range, which has more than 50 types of unexploded ordnance.
