At the North American International Autoshow in January, Mercedes-Benz presented the Concept BlueZERO for electric vehicles. Mercedes has now provided some additional details on the extended range electric vehicle, BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS. range extender is installed in the area of the rear axle.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. Showed BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS series PHEV concept in December 08. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs. todays answer is "Yes -- but not yet."
