San Diego, California-based startup V-Vehicle Company (VVC) will begin assembling cars in Monroe, LA. VVC’s Director of Design is Tom Matano, who led the design of the Mazda Miata. Tags: Brief. Boone Pickens and James Davison, among others. VVC will assemble the cars at the former Guide Corp.

San Diego, Ca-based V-Vehicle Company (VVC) ( earlier post ) has been informed that the Program Office of the US Department of Energy (DOE) will not recommend approval of VVC’s two loan applications for $321.1 The company’s vehicle design team is led by Tom Matano, who is best known as the “father of the Mazda Miata”.
