Nevada has granted the first license for an autonomous commercial truck—the Freightliner Inspiration—to operate on an open public highway in the United States to Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). The radar unit in the center area of the Freightliner Inspiration Truck front bumper scans the road ahead at long and short range.
