Caroline Reichert, an RWE spokeswoman, noted that the idea here is to ensure that "a car can be recharged in Italy in exactly the same way as in Denmark, Germany or France." I mean, when the electricity it uses is produces, pollution still happens, just not "right from your car"? yay same plug! Is this the Zune HD?

Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Generating electricity from wind and geothermal rather than a CO2 producing sources would help alleviate that problem.
