Fulton, UC Davis, examines how major changes in urban transport investments worldwide would affect urban passenger transport emissions as well as mobility by different income groups. Doubling motor vehicle fuel economy requirements could also reduce CO 2 emissions by an additional 700 megatons in 2050.
