Many of the chapter members are very involved in teaching and certifying service and maintenance technicians for light electric vehicles. Leaders from island-specific clubs including Big Island EV, Kauai EV, Maui EV, and Tesla Hawaii, sit on the chapter board and facilitate in-person events in their locales.

Best take on all this has been that SouthPark episode with "It" You want something efficient that uses little resources and doesnt impact traffic and parking, then buy a motorcycle. My personal criteria for an EV is 80/80 MPH/miles range, but thats because drivers either go 80 or stopped around here.
