It isa fundamental change in direction for GM. Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. AND the Detroit car companies were laughing. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
