Goodbye To the Minivan. Kia is out of the minivan business and is shaking up things with the all-new 2022 Carnival. The Korean car company will remind you it is not a minivan but an MPV or Multi-Purpose Vehicle. With those words it hopes to remove the stigma of people saying “I will never own a minivan.”.

Chrysler calls it a “multipurpose vehicle,” but we will stick with modern minivan. liter V6 and two electric motors mated to an electrically variable transmission driving the front wheels. MPGe is a measurement of how far a car can travel, electrically, on the same amount of energy as is contained in one gallon of gasoline.

When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market.

Clean Fleet Report’s BRZ was equipped with a 6-speed manual, while a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters is optional. The BRZ has an honest sports car approach to the interior design, with clean and simple gauges. Because of this we don’t address issues such as long-term reliability or total cost of ownership.

Clean Fleet Report was driving the highly optioned Limited, which had the standard solar panel roof that charges the 12-volt and hybrid batteries, producing two miles of electric driving range for every six hours the car is left in the sun.
