The all-new Civic is targeted to achieve CO 2 emissions of less than 110 grams per km which is less than 5 l/100km (47 mpg US) in WLTP testing. For the first time, the all-new Civic is equipped with sonar sensors—four at the front and four at the rear.

When sales of the Civic Hybrid started to flag, Honda introduced the Insight Hybrid earlier this year. It also plans to introduce the CR-Z (see article ), which has been dubbed the world’s first hybrid sports car; a hybrid version of the Fit; and both the EV-N and Skydeck concepts.
